Just to remind you, Bodean will draw an opportunity attack if he doesn't target Yatagan.

edit: this might be the first battle where Yatagan's working the way the paladin class is supposed to.

Vox, too tired and hot to come up with a good quip, maintains a stony silence as he stabs Vern again, this time aiming for where the cook's heart ought to be.

"It's a wonder you can smell anything," he says suddenly, as inspiration strikes, "Over the stench of your own cooking!" Lame those it is, the quip makes him feel, for a moment, a bit better.

Dexter works busily, despite pausing for a moment to give Kamapua a questionably reassuring pat on the snout.

Chakram emits a slightly feral growl as a chain smashes into her head. Though the impact is lessened by Yatagan's protection, it still causes blood to flow out into the now thicker mane of red hair that hangs down behind her horns. Then she laughs darkly, baring newly developed fangs, and says to the grillmaster that just struck her, "Don't worry - I'll be with you shortly."

As if to punctuate her words, Chakram's falchion flashes in the lurid light as it arcs through the air, pausing only momentarily as it passes neatly through the neck of the foe before her (OOC: I'm guessing the crit vs. Huck took care of him). She pivots neatly, despite her much bulkier form and carries the arc around to strike deeply into the side of the tiefling she just addressed, knocking him off-balance and leaving him open for an attack from Yatagan.

Actions:
Use Courageous Strike (with 2 pp) vs. Huck (crits for 44 damage) and Bodean (33 vs. AC for 24 damage, or 35 vs. AC for 31 if he's bloodied). If she hits Bodean, Yatagan gets to make a melee basic attack against him.

You're right. I assumed that the Ray of Reprisal had to hit for Chakram to benefit, but I see that it applies anyway. Thanks.

Bodean's cry of grief becomes one of agony as Chakram's attack strikes him dead.

Vox drops low, letting Vern slash the air above him, and then leaps straight up, and over the cook. He lands hard, swaying for a moment to maintain his balance, and then taps Vern on the shoulder while whispering "Boo."

OOC: All right, let's try thinking out of the box.... Acrobatics check to somersault over Vern, and land on the narrow edge behind him: 36

Tap him on the shoulder, when he spins around, use his momentum to pitch him into the lava and push Vox back onto solid ground. Not sure what skill to use for that, but will roll anyway: 19 + Something.
