The single door opens out into the forest that's currently filling the greenhouse.

The double doors, which open at Yatigan's touch, reveal a rather nice restaurant, empty of patrons or servers, and tables crowded with food.

None of you recognize the place; then again, it's not the sort of dive that you lot tend to frequent. Elegant decor, subtle lighting, eating utensils, a decided lack of pig manure....

The food certainly smells delicious, if heavily spiced, as is customary with Tiefling cuisine. The wines bottle have already been uncorked, and everything looks freshly prepared.

The doors refuse to close while any of you stay outside, and it seems impossible to convince them otherwise.

But the pie...my great, glorious god in heaven, the pie. The delicate golden brown of the crust, the sweet scent of apples, the soothing warmth that it radiates...it calls to Yatigan, gently beckoning him foreward, inviting him to taste, to enjoy....

Honestly, it seems like a DAMNED tasty pie.

There are no windows, but there is a door one corner of the room. Invesitgation reveals that it's part of the wall; no amount of pushing, pulling, or other manipulation can get it to budge.

OOC: These are many kinds of memories, not literally ones of food, correct? Yatagan is going to examine the feast laid out carefully. Perhaps some of the dishes are malevolent spirits in disguise!

The place feels welcoming, actually. Pleasant, and relaxing, even if it's impossible to explain precisely why.

The wine is incredible, one of the finest Odanais has ever tasted. Utterly unfamiliar to him, though.

Oddly, though, drinking it makes Odanais feel a vague and sourceless sense of longing. It fades quickly, even as the aftertaste of the wine does.

Once it's clear that Odanais is suffering no ill effects from the wine, Artichoke says, "That's good to know, in case we do need to rely on the food and drink here. But for the moment, let's stick to our own supplies, though we should take some with us." He collects some food and drink and stows it in his pack, before adding, "But now we should get a move on."

Artichoke waits for the others to get ready and then heads for the exit with them. He opens the doors, and if the greenhouse is on the other side, as usual lets Yatagan, Lizzy and Lien take the lead.

"Exquisite," says Odanais, pouring another glass and sitting down for a brief repast. "You should really try a glass."

There's always one....

It's one of the best meals that Odanais has ever eaten. Everything has been perfectly prepared, and even beyond that everything tastes just a little bit better than it should.

But each dish has its own unique emotional aftertaste. The salad brings regret, the fish hope, the beef anger, the bread tastes faintly of homesickness, and the pie? Joy. Each emotion quickly fades, and none are overwhelming, but it's a rather disquieting sensation nonetheless.

Odanais feels marvelous afterwards. Strong, rested, full of pie, port, and pep.
