OOC: Initiative 29, Hits 20 and 16 vs AC. If Penelope's initiative check is highest, I'd like to use Hunter’s Privilege (Stance, no action, trigger [when her check is highest] - until the stance ends, her Hunter’s Quarry does +3 damage).

Forgot to roll dmg. Just tell me if the average-ish zombies aren't minions.

"We should focus our bellicose attention on the large, cold zombie" says Yatagan firmly as the ridge of fins atop his head begin to glow...

... suddenly the Dragonborn opens his mouth and instead of words, a stream of dazzling multicolored light shoots out, striking the icy zombie in the face, clearly disorienting it. Yatagan follows that with a blob of justice hurled from his axe. Steeling himself, he marches straight at his foe.

OOC: Init 20, critical hit w/Radiant Delirium, 33 damage (assuming zombie has Vulnerability 5 to Radiant), zombie is Dazed until the end of my next turn and takes -2 to AC, save ends. Yatagan also use Divine Challenge on it and moves to K4

[For some reason I haven't gotten the excel file yet, so I'm not sure how many zombies I can hit, but I'm definitely going to try and get the ice zombie and as many of his buddies as possible.]

Unfortunately, I screwed up on the email address (I know multiple Steves, including multiple gamers). I re-sent it to you. The chillborn and the regular zombies are on opposite sides of the group, so you have to go after one of the other.

Aha! I was just blaming the Penn's email system.

In that case, Odanais will just hit Mr. Chill Zombie with Scorching Burst.

Vox snaps a shot at the Chillborn zombie even as he backpedals away from the wave of cold it generates.

Manipulation of the Space/Time continuum is but one of my many talents.

Penelope puts an arrow through each of the closest zombies, dropping them in their tracks. The others focus their attacks on the chillborn, Vox putting a well-aimed bolt into it even as a burst of fire from Odanais scorches it. Yatagan rushes up, feeling the biting cold from the chillborn's body as he nears it (5 pts cold damage) and strikes it a powerful blow with his axe.

The chillborn staggers under all the attacks, but somehow remains on its feet. Focusing on the one foe in range, it strikes Yatagan with a blow which further chills him (9 pts + ongoing 5 cold) and causes ice to form around his limbs, slowing his movements (immobilized).

Behind the chillborn, the corruption corpses claw into their own bodies, pulling forth lumps of necrotic goop and hurl them, one at Yatagan and one at Odanais. The mage's magical clothing protects him from the attack, causing the attacker to growl disappointedly and move closer. Yatagan is not as lucky, the necrotic goo searing his flesh and weakening him (11 necrotic damage + weakened).

The remaining four zombies rush in towards Penelope, Vox and Odanais, but their attacks fail to impact.


OOC: Initiative & damage taken - Penelope, Vox, Odanais, Yatagan (25 pts dmg, ongoing 5 cold, weakened, immobilized), Zombies

Yatagan can save at the end of his turn against the ongoing 5 cold and the weakening (separate saves).

There are four zombies, the two corruption corpses, and the chillborn (very bloodied, with 65 pts damage!) left.

I'll send out an email again with the new positions and someone with more skill than me (John?) can post it here.

It's fairly steep, so it would take a DC 18 Climb check. No check needed to descend, of course, but if you wanted to drop over the edge and remain somewhere on the side without falling, it would take the same check. Going over the edge means some of the undead embedded in the wall might reach you, of course.

As ice binds him and corruption sears into his scaled flesh, Yatagan utters a short prayer in Draconic, that is to say he roars furiously then strikes his undead foe in the face. Again. His axe gives off a shower of angry red and pearl-white sparks.

Through sheer force of will Yatagan rids himself of the life-sapping filth that weakened him, but cannot shake off the miasma of frost. Undaunted, he lays a hand onto his codpiece and his vitality is renewed.

OOC: critical hit w/Holy Strike, (10+10+4+2)/2 = 13 damage, saved against weakness, used Lay on Hands to regain 15 HP.

Did it seem like my fire attack did any extra damage against the chill zombie?

Assuming it doesn't like fire, Odanais throws another Scorching Burst at it, then shifts to I-5.

Yatagan's attack will kill the chillborn, so the rest of you can take that into account and act accordingly.

Vox lunges forward, skewering the zombie that menaces Penelope, and uses the momentum of his attack to send the clumsy thing stumbling towards the edge of the cliff. He continues his motion, throwing himself into a cartwheel and coming to his feet next to a stalagmite.

"Remember the rats, man!" he calls to Odanais, "Use your spells, knock them off the edge!"

(OOC: Positioning Strike again.... 14 vs. Will, which *may* actully hit, considering that it's a zombie, and 14 points of damage to the guy at D4. Switch places with him, and then shift to D2)
