The Clagoff Finale

First, Yatagan will stomp on Hax's neck, just to make sure he's dead. Then he makes his way around the crates to his left, hoping to encircle the archers. Popping out with a melodramatic 'Hah' he strikes at the one staring down Vox.

OOC: move F3-->G2-->H2-->I3-->I4, Mark archer, use Enfeebling Strike: 31 vs. AC, damage 23 (2 to self).

Lizzy laughs at the archers. "You've fucked with the wrong dwarf," he grins and closes in on the archer at H8. Waiting for the right time to land his axe, he delivers a heavy blow.

Not wishing to risk burning any of his thoroughly-bloodied allies, Odanais runs his fingers through his hair, then goes swimming through the far archer's mind to assail him with visions of his own dismembered corpse.

OOC: Illusory Ambush [against H8]: 17 (vs. will), damage: 9 points psychic damage, and the archer will have a -2 penalty to hit until the end of OD's next turn

The member 'gridley' has done the following action : Dice Roller

Lizzy again attacks the archer poised on the crates, and as the wounded gnoll teeters, Odanais blasts its brain with psychic energy, causing it to collapse in a heap.

Yatagan rushes around the crates, gleefully stamping on Hax's skull in the process, and slashes into one of the archers, continuing to damage himself in the process. Vox attacks the same archer without success, but before it can attempt one last attack, an arrow from Penelope takes it right between the eyes.

The battle is over, but Clagoff still remains to be brought to justice. Or an axe, as the case may be.

Yup. In character or flavor-wise, you guys are just regrouping for a couple of seconds and then taking off after Clagoff (I presume). Mechanically, just mark off as many surges as you need (but with no benefits from Inspiring Word, Healing Word, etc) to heal up to full.

If I calculate correctly, Yatagan and Heyoka have to spend 3, and Lizzy and Vox 2. Heyoka already spent 2 and Vox 2 this fight. That, combined with the surges lost in the skill challenge, means the PCs are down the following number of surges each:

Yatagan - 3
Heyoka - 6
Odanais - 1
Lizzy - 3
Vox - 5
Penelope - 0

While the others are resting and pulling arrows out of their flesh, Odanais wanders over to inspect Hax's corpse, singing one of the songs from their recent musical extravaganza.

He bends down over the dead sailor and when he stands back up, Odanais is gone, replaced by the living figure of Hax. Hax, still singing a song in praise of Treasure the Miracle Pig, launches into a soft shoe dance number, complete with jazz hands and hitting the high notes in the familiar voice of Odanais.

Yatagan needs to do research for his upcoming play, The Humiliation and Execution of Captain Clagoff as Performed by the Prelates of the Church of Treasure Under the Direction of Yatagan Fracas.
