Artichoke moves up next to Lizzy and prepares to attack, while calling to Lien to do the same.

The deva responds, moving around Lizzy and pronouncing a curse against the pirate, before wounding himself and attacking too. As he strikes, Artichoke gestures for him to shift to a better position and attacks as well.

OOC: Artichoke moves to K9 and readies to attack Pirate2. Lien moves to M10, uses Oath of Enmity on Pirate2 and attacks him with Avenging Echo (25 vs. AC, for 19 damage; till the end of Lien's next turn, any enemy that ends its turn adjacent to him, or that hits or misses Lien, takes 9 radiant damage).

After he goes, Artichoke attacks with Wolf Pack Tactics, shifting Lien to N10 and attacking (29 vs. AC, for 12 damage).

ARTICHOKE: HP 64 (Bloodied 32); Healing surges/day 10 (17 hp); AC 25, Fort 22, Ref 23, Will 20

LIEN: HP 63/65 (Bloodied 32); Healing surges 7 (16 hp); AC 24, Fort 17, Ref 20, Will 20

"Thank you kindly, m'lady," says Odanais, casting a quick lascivious wink to Lady Snogbottom, as he feels her crude vulgarity coursing through his veins.

Looking up at Sancere, he smiles and says, "Thanks for the chance to surrender."

A circle of thunder explodes around him, striking those around him while flinging the grinning sorcerer twenty feet into the air to come down behind Sancere's back with another thunderous blast.

"Also, is anyone else getting really sick of this annoying cloud?"

With a wave of his arms, Odanais whips up a swirling tempest. Howling winds fling garbage everywhere and send those around him flying.

Then he closes his eyes and prepares to be beat down.

----------------------

Thunder Leap -- 1st attack (vs. Fort): Sancere 28, P4 31, U (T12) 16, P3 13, U (R11) 16. Damage: 18 Thunder/radiant.

Unfettered: Rolled a 1 so everyone within five squares is pushed one square.
New locations: Sancere S10, P4 U10, U (T12) can't move, P3 P14, U (R11) Q10

Odanais lands at T9.

Thunder Leap -- 2nd attack (vs. Fort): Sancere 16, SK 20, P4 24. Damage 18 thunder/radiant.

Spends action point.

Howling Hurricane (vs. Fort): Sancere 18, SK 18, P4 31. Damage 23 thunder/radiant.

New zone (3 x 3) created, currently centered on Odanais. I can slide anyone in it 2 squares.
New locations: Sancere Q10, SK V8, P4 W9

------------------------------

AC: 25, Fort: 20, Ref: 23, Will: 26
HP: 48, Surges: 6

When you use an AP, you get +2 to hit from Artichoke. I'm guessing it won't make any difference, however, since an 18 likely doesn't hit at this level and a 29 presumably already does.

Thanks, I always forget that.

I've adjusted the numbers (just in case).

Lizzie ably slips out from the pirate's flank and wallops the newly-declared enemy of the people. From behind him, two bum nobles give him their salute. The spittle from this hits the back of Lizzie's neck like a gentle summer rain.

Sweet!

As he's flipping through the air, Odanais sings a little song about how great he is.

HP: 48

Swords clash, weaponized enlightenment flashes, shit happens.

OOC:First, Odanais takes 5 Necrotic damage for being in the cloud.

Odanais Dare invokes two of his more dramatic spells. He leaps into the air, landing with cacophonic thunder. Then a mighty wind is summoned up from nowhere, injuring friend and foes alike. Two Unseemlies are knocked back and prone (at U11,U12), but more importantly, Sancerre and several of his band are tossed about, including the Shadar-Kai witch, which moves the zone of darkness around her. She's no longer visible, but quite a lot of her blood is, looking slick and slightly darker-than-black on the grass of Twilight Hill. The shadow cloud retreats around a bench and comes to rest near Lien and Artichoke, placing them in a cold, dim, miasma.

Unfortunately, Odanais's push sends two of the Unseemly Folk who fled the cloud back into it's new location. You see the outline of the bodies hit the turf.

The sorcerer's concussive spell also shoves Pætros, his angel and spirit guide, and the gaggle of young and elderly Unseemly Folk, including both arcane ritualists, one who was just completing her long-winded ritual. She falls back, thumping her head on a stone. A wave of dizziness and the feeling in your bones like the lightness of air passes across the top of Twilight Hill, accompanied by the scent of ancient lilacs, the favored flower of the Fae courts, or so they say.

Artichoke and Lien move in, scoring serious hits on a grizzled veteran, not quite bloodying him. His partner moves in and from nowhere a heretofore invisible, panther-like shape materializes next to Lien. He takes 2 hits from the pirates, who then dance back out out of reach before Lien can raise his fullblade. The 3rd pirate recovers from the arcane shove given him by Odanais and runs up to try tag Lien again, but misses (OOC: Lien: 2 hits, 38 damage).

You see something odd happen to the lightning-struck pirate (P2). The sparks coursing across his body flee into the ground, electrifying the place he was struck, catching Artichoke, Lizzie, Lien, and Unseemly and the other pirate in the effect (no damage yet). The fat courtier looks at the ground-lightning in surprise and promptly has a coronary.

Sancerre leaps at Odanais.

Odanais teleports away.

Instead of meeting in the sorcerer's spleen, they meet in empty air, shedding sparks. The grizzled pirate shouts a curse known around the Port as "The End of the Cabin Boys Virtue". Sancerre merely laughs. He then spurs himself after Odanais by reciting his tag-line (and using his Action Point).

"I shall hit you yet" says the possessed mouth of Armand Rum from well inside Odanais's personal space.

Damage totals:

P1: 42
P2: 90 - Bloodied
P3: 83
P4: 57
SK: 69 (she's the Shadar-Kai in the cloud) - badly, badly, Bloodied.
IP: 9 (it's the now semi-visible panther)
Sancerre: 18

OOC: whew!

Sancerre leaps at Odanais. Once in front of him, he calls out the the veteran lost in the shadow. The sorcerer finds himself between a ghost-vigilante and a hard-case. The flat of Sancerre's blade finds Odanais's face again, as does the sharp, pointy tip of the pirate's [i](44 points of damage)

When Sancere strikes out at Odanais, he activates the immediate interrupt of his Cape of the Mountback, teleporting away to P-14.

Also: the cloud seems to be centered on Odanais at the moment instead of the SK. Is that the case now?

One more question to add to Steve's before I post. Does the above include the 9 pts radiant damage that anyone attacking Lien or ending their turn next to him would take? If not, from the description it sounds like P1, P2, P3 and the panther would all take it.

OOC: I figured he would... I'll retcon the summary when I get to work.

The magenta zone is Odanais's Howling Hurricane -- it persists, doesn't it?

The gray zone is the Shadar-Kai witch's cloud.

The white zone is the electrified ground that resulted from the lightning strike.
