Lien complies with Artichoke's request, moving up and flanking one of the creatures next to Odanais, before hacking violently at it.

OOC: Move to P16 to flank S3 with Odanais and use Oath of Enmity on it. Then he attacks using the Bloodclaw weapon, hitting AC 27 for 20 damage. If S3 is still alive, Lien uses his action point and attacks as before, hitting AC 21 for 28 damage.

Current HP - 20/55; AC 23, Fort 16, Ref 19, Will 19. Current status: Aspect of Might (Until the end of the encounter, gain +5 to Athletics checks, +2 to speed, and +2 to melee damage rolls)

At Lien's blow, shards of stone explode from the creature, showering everything still standing. Only Christabel and Yatigan suffer any damage, however. The wretched thing is barely functional, it's limbs twisted and broken, but there is still a malevolent light in its eyes.

OOC: 9 points +3 Psychic to Christabel, 12+3 to Yatigan.

So it's up after even his second attack, right?

Battered but smiling, Yatagan complies with Artichoke's orders.

OOC: move to flank, Mark S1, use Enfeebling Smite: 31 vs. AC, 17 damage (2 to self), target takes -2 to hit until end of next turn.

Yatagan is at 16 of 70 HP, Bloodied.

And Yatigan's target also explodes into shrapnel, with only Yatigan being caught by any of the shards.

OOC: 5 points, +3 Psychic. It's still standing, though.

Odanais, visibly pale from blood loss now, steps back and reaches out into his enemies minds with an oddly beautiful, violet mist, that causes them to stumble away from from him.

Shift: M15

Mists of Disarray: (vs. will) S2-16, S3-24; 17 points psychic damage; and if hit, Odanais shifts them four squares to the north.

Move: O17

-------------

Chaos Burst: +1 to AC

(plus ongoing +2 to all defenses from Chaotic Defense and 5 pts of necrotic resistance)

-------------

Current Hit Points: 12 (out of 60)

"Goddamn stupid floor!" Lizzy hacks at the floor with his axe, if possible trying to extricate himself. "Let go of me you fucking mind monster."

OOC: The crit on the last turn did an additional 5 pts of damage.

Takes a surge: 27 HP/6 surges left

Christabel, now really badly hurt, levels her totem at the closest enemy and blasts it with cold energy.

OOC: Use Thunder Bearís Warding on S2, rolling a 28 vs. Fort for 8 thunder damage. Till the end of her next turn, she and all allies gain resistance 2 to all damage while adjacent to Oothoon. She also gains 2 temporary hit pts.

HP 19/62 (+2 temporary) and resistance 2, AC 21, Fort 21, Ref 20, Will 24

Christabel's target detonates, as does Odanais', exploding into shrapnel and leaving nothing behind. The sole remaing creature, now weeping pathetically, shoves past Artichoke, throws itself into the tiles that had made up the largest Hidimba, and begins shoveling stones into its mouth.

OOC: Lien and Odanais take 6 points +3 Psychic, Christabel takes 4+3 Psychic, S2 and S3 are both dead. Lizzy's foe still managed to escape, though. Feel free to take AoOs on S1, you heartless bastards. Combat is over.

Bleeding and full of blood-lust, Yatagan swings at the retreating foe.

OOC: basic melee: 30 vs. AC, 18 damage --now I start rolling well?!...

"Gods above and below!" exclaims the battered Yatagan. "Someone tell me what we just fought. Have we slain Hidimba's memories or merely foul spirits wearing them like cloaks?"

Yatagan spends 3 Healing Surges: 70/70 HP, 5 Surges remaining.

Odanais lets Zappa out to explore the room, opens a bottle of rum, and then lies down on the ground to count his three remaining hit points.

OOC: Damn, that fight was brutal! We need to do some serious healing, and carefully too, since we don't want to have anyone totally out of surges. Luckily, since Christabel can split up her healing between 2 people, it's doable. Could everyone post their current and max HP, surge value and surges left, so we can take care of that?

Artichoke has 40 hp out of a max of 54, a surge value of 13 and 3 surges left.

Lien has 20 hp out of a max of 55, a surge value of 13 and 4 surges left.

Yatagan will help yank Lizzie free from the shackles of the running-dog capitalist masonry.

OOC: I recommend OOC and IC that we take a long break and let Christabel tend to us. Since she can use her Healing Spirit ability to let someone spend a surge and give someone else 2d6 hp, she can really spread around the healing. With Yatagan (3) and Lizzy (2) already spending some surges, if Christabel, Odanais and Lien spend 2 more each, then we have the following:

Yatagan is at 70/70 with 5 surges left

Lizzy is at 55/56 with 4 surges left

Artichoke is at 54/54 with 3 surges left

Christabel is at 62/62 with 4 surges left

Lien is at 55/55 with 2 surges left

Odanais is at 60/60 with 3 surges left (right, Steve?)
