Christabel moves away from her attackers, calling Oothoon to her, before leveling her totem at the closest enemy and trying to blast it with cold.

OOC: Christabel saves and then shifts to M13, causing Oothoon to move to N13. She uses Wrath of Winter on S2 (rolled 15 vs. Will, doing 10 pts damage).

HP 33/62, AC 20, Fort 19, Ref 18, Will 22

Still keening the loss of their master, two of the Hidimbas turn upon Yatigan. The first grabs Yatigan's shoulders and shoves him knee-deep into the floor, while the second brings both hands down upon the Dragonborn's head.

OOC: 25 points of damage, and restrained again.

The last Hidimba sinks into the ground once more, steps out of a column to flank Lizzy, and hits him hard in the back of his head.

OOC: 7 points of damage.

One of the jagged ones charges Artichoke, and makes a game attempt at slicing off his head, which Artichoke is canny enough to foil by ducking.

The two remaining creatures move to engage Christabel and Odanais; the attack upon the Sorcerer is a miserable failure, while the blow to the Shaman's head...isn't.

OOC: Christabel takes 12 points + 5 psychic.

Angry that a pair of recollections just put him knee-deep in floor, Yatagan calls upon the power of the Crotch-God. Sliver-white fire bubbles up from the floor around him.

OOC: use Divine Reverence: M1 - 10, S1 - 20, M2 - 14 vs. WILL, 9 damage + Dazed until the end of Yatagan's nest turn, save 16

Yatagan is at 33 of 70 HP, Bloodied, no longer Restrained.

With the force of history behind him, Lizzy pursues the Hidimba M3 (inexorable pursuit). He shifts three squares to L17 And musters the power of the people to smite M3.

Hit AC 33 (critical) and 23 damage. Are the critical pluses of my magical axe and holy symbol cumulative? If so, that's an additional 3d6 damage?

Lizzy is at 34 HP.

With a swift gesture of his wyrmtooth dagger, Odanais caresses more falling stars from the skies to rain down upon his foes. However, distracted by a stray thought of rum, something goes terribly wrong between elbow and fingertips, triggering an unexpected explosion of energy that knocks everyone, friend and foe, away from the young sorcerer.

"Ahem," he says, spitting sparks and blood from the side of his mouth, "my apologies, chums!"

Recovering his wits, such as they are, Odanais fires off a bolt of chaotic energy at one of the creatures.

-------------

Blazing Starfall: (vs. reflex) S2-11, S3-15; 12 points radiant damage.

Unfettered power: Everyone within five squares (which is everybody) is pushed one square away from Odanais.

Fortunately, I think Odanais goes right before the monsters, so this shouldn't mess up any of our attacks.

Spend action point.

Chaos Bolt: (vs. will) S2-21; 16 points psychic damage; ricochet.

Second Target: (vs. will) S3-13; 14 points psychic damage; another ricochet if that hits, which it probably doesn't...

-------------

Chaos Burst: free saving throw (unneeded)

(ongoing +2 to all defenses from Chaotic Defense and 5 pts of necrotic resistance)

-------------

Current Hit Points: 26 (out of 60)

OOC: Was originally going to do Mists of Disarray instead of Chaos Bolt for the second attack, but they were no longer in position after my unfettered outburst. And so damage for Chaos Bolts...

Yes! Thank you. I'm having trouble keeping that straight. (Knew I shouldn't have traded all those intelligence points for dexterity!)

Lien should actually be at Q15, since he'd moved there when he attacked and killed the big Hidimba. Since that square's occupied by S1 now, let's say he's at Q16.

A little disconcerted that nobody seems to be attacking him, Sir Lien turns his attention to the closest of the foes. Stepping next to Yatagan so that he can focus fully on his foe, Lien swings at him, and then again.

OOC: Lien shifts to P17 and uses Oath of Enmity on M2. Then he attacks using the Bloodclaw weapon, hitting AC 31 for 21 damage. If M2 is still alive, Lien uses his action point and attacks as before, hitting AC 32 for 19 damage.

Current HP - 22/55; AC 23, Fort 16, Ref 19, Will 19. Current status: Aspect of Might (Until the end of the encounter, gain +5 to Athletics checks, +2 to speed, and +2 to melee damage rolls)

Artichoke sidesteps to catch another of the wounded foes between himself and Lizzy, and then stabs at it.

OOC: Shift to P14, flank M1 with Lizzy, and attack (hit AC 31 for 13 damage).

HP - 40/54; AC 24, Fort 20, Ref 22, Will 19; Surges spent today - 5

Christabel retreats and heals some of her wounds, keeping Oothoon between her and her enemies.

OOC: Shift to L14 and move Oothoon to M13. Use Second Wind.

M2 and M1 both drop, and Lien needs not spend an Action Point. And hey, that's everyone -- update soon.

Lizzy's foe sinks into the floor, taking Lizzy part of the way with him, and does not reappear.

OOC: 21 points of damage to Lizzy, and he's Restrained.

The thing fighting Artichoke shifts to the North, and then tries gutting him. It fails. As does the first one that attempts to hit Odanais. The second, on the other hand, nearly manages to remove the top of his skull.

OOC: 9 damage +5 Psychic to Odanais.

Artichoke calls out, "Lien - please help Odanais. Yatagan, let's take this one," indicating the closest enemy. He steps up to it and as Yatagan does so too, feints at it, giving his ally a chance to flank and strike. A second later, so does he.

OOC: Shift to Q15, next to S1 and ready for Yatagan to move to R16. When Yatagan does, Artichoke uses Wolf Pack Tactics and lets him shift to T15 so they flank, and attacks (hit AC 30 for 6 pts).

HP - 40/54; AC 24, Fort 20, Ref 22, Will 19; Surges spent today - 5
