So, you've got a party assembled. On the streets, they know you as "Artichoke's Arseholes", but only rarely are they so imprudent as to use that to any of your faces. Is there a more formal name for this party of heroes?

And what of your home base? What's the place called? Scott had an idea or three, as I recall, of varying levels of dignity....

The building started out life as a monastary, turned gradually into a brother catering to some rather unusual tastes, briefly became a school of dance, closed after some sort of unspeakable tragedy occured, and reopened as a tavern about 10 years ago. The lot of you have living quarters on the second and third floors of the building.

There's more than a few ghosts in residence, but they seem the quiet and unassuming type of spirits.

And of course, there's Agenbite Inwit. Must be an octogenarian by now, but he looks like a rather dissolute twelve year old. Typical for a halfling, that. He came with the building, and to all appearances lives behind the bar. At least, none of you have ever seen him anywhere else, and its unquestionably true that he sleeps on a pallet behind the bar. Doesn't seem to like anyone or anything, but he's dependable enough.

Well, Artichoke did plan to have them called the Avenging Legion of Justice. But every time he was introducing them to a new client, that damn senile warlock kept poking people with his cane and going, "Whut? Legion? League? Whut league? Speak up! Who's in dis league?" And invariably, one of the other smart-alecks in the bunch would say, "Just us, gramps!"

So within a short time they were named the "Just Us League." It used to be the "Just Us League, Gramps!" till Artichoke beat the next young punk who used that name over the head with his shield.

You are determined to use that name, aren't you, shil? Still trying to get me back for Dr. Mephisophocles, eh?

In his poetry, Yatagon refers to his comrades as the Radiant Seed of Justice, or sometimes the Company of the Radiant Seed. In public. During poetry slams.

BTW, Yatagon is working on a series of, ahem, lays that feature a thinly-veiled version of himself. He's currently calling the collected work "The Savage Sword of Onan" (it's named after it's main character, a Dragonborn knight named Sir Onan Ruckus, of course).

Thanks, I'll be here all week. Actually, I'll be here all campaign...

I think I was calling it the Hall of Mob Justice. I'll try to come up with something better...

Hmmm, since it's haunted by multiple ghosts, we could call it Shade's Bar.

Hmm, strangely inoffensive by your standards. I grow suspicious...

And now I see why!

*facepalm*
